(Standard garden variety bio, wherein comedian struggles to be self-deprecating while referring to himself in the third person. Peter Bartlett doesn't like doing it, but he's a slave to convention.)
Peter Bartlett is a San Francisco-based comedian, improviser and writer.
Peter brings to comedy his keen powers of observation, a healthy regard for the absurd, and an extremely dry sense of humor.
His turn-ons include the clarinet, plush toys and pie. Turn-offs include genocide, landmines and phony people. He enjoys shiny objects, trivia and groups of three.
Peter grew up in Colorado and Arizona, but went to college on the East Coast, at the University of Pennsylvania. (Motto: Leges sine moribus vanae, which translates to "cashier cannot open safe.") There he studied Chinese. Peter lived and worked in China, first in Hong Kong and later in Beijing. He also has an MBA degree from Stanford, which of course comes in super-handy in the world of comedy!
Peter has performed at numerous venues in San Francisco and New York.
